The wife and kids want me to make some pizzas for them soon so I wanted to know if you have a favorite pizza sauce. Can be in a jar or a recipe.

I use Pepperland Farms Marinara. It’s local, I believe and pretty good.

Don't use anything labeled "pizza sauce." Use or make a good marinara.

I can't believe I agree with Paul Allen.

Rao's spaghetti sauce is really good too.

My family likes the Classico jarred one. It has a slight sweetness to it.

I prefer the Mid’s brand. It’s a little thicker and not as sweet.

I love Rao’s spaghetti sauce, but the pizza sauce was a tad disappointing, especially at its price point.

Classico is good. Prego is trash.

Those are the only 2 I ever see in the grocery

Completely disagree. I use some of the brands pizzarias use.

Try one of these from Amazon:

SuperDolce

Soporito

I agree with making your own pasta sauce when time allows, but making your own pizza sauce is dumb. The crust, cheese, and toppings are the star here, the sauce just provides a little backup. Most jarred sauces are more than fine to play that role.

To each their own though.

Can san marazano tomatoes in food processor, tsp of salt, pinch of sugar, and couple drops of fish sauce. I add a couple pods of garlic too.
