Best 75 inch tv for under $500

Posted by Donka Doo Balls on 8/28/25 at 8:59 pm
Vizio 65 inch just crapped the bed. Looking for the least expensive option with the most reliability. I don’t necessarily need a smart tv as I already have a fire stick if it helps with the price. We mainly use the tv for sports and video games.
You are absolutely right but the biggest difference I think is that those types of places are using high fat briskets(prime, wagyu etc)

Do we know what grade of meat the op is using?

I have kept choice and select briskets smoked on my Weber kettle, in my electric smoker overnight and some have come out overcooked. I think higher quality briskets can take long rests like that but for everything else I use a cooler with towels and try not to go overnight.
Looks awesome. I’m stealing this recipe.

Your recipe mentions jalapeño powder but I notice fresh jalapeño as well in your pics how much fresh jalapeño did you use?

Audio and Video Editing App

Posted by Donka Doo Balls on 6/16/25 at 2:42 pm
I’m looking for suggestions for an android based app that will allow standard audio and video editing. I’m trying to stay away from a subscription model and would prefer a pay one price option.

I recently captured a video performance and the audio on the recording was too distorted so I was able to gather audio from the board that night to replace it. I need to be able to trim audio and video down to the smallest of seconds, milliseconds etc. I also need be able to move the audio track wherever needed to sync up the video
I was gifted two tickets for Thursday to the Zurich Classic. I’ve never been and know nothing of the event. I’m assuming I have the basic of the basic tickets.

How does the food and drink situation work? Is there any thing free with a basic ticket? Will I have access to purchase food from all food vendors?

Please also share any tips tricks or suggestions since again I know nothing of how this works.

Thanks in advance

Which game should I start next?

Northeast food recs

Posted by Donka Doo Balls on 1/3/25 at 9:46 pm
The family and I are looking to road-trip through the Northeast. Please give me recs on the types of dishes best known in these areas as well as the best places to get them.

Baltimore, MD
Wilmington, DE
Philadelphia, PA (Reading Terminal Market)
Princeton, NJ
Perth Amboy, NJ
Stamford, CT
New York City, NY
Newport, RI
Cape Cod, RI
Boston, MA (Quincy Market)
Waterbury, VT
Stowe, VT
Jefferson, NH
Ellsworth, ME
Bar Harbor, ME

Thanks,
That’s hilarious because ideal market is exactly where I went and they had it!
Weird thing is, I absolutely love the drumming in the Smashing Pumpkins, but really can’t stand the rest of the band. Recommend some songs to me that you think may change my opinion. It doesn’t have to be drum focused songs
iPhone 4, Chinese no name brand tablet, 2009 MacBook.

All in fair to bad condition.

Bonus points if you can find somewhere that will give any money for them. Not completely necessary though.

Grit progression

I’ve had a Ken Onion Workshop for a couple of years and a couple of the belts finally gave way. I ordered a replacement pack that has the following coarseness.

Grit Coarseness

This is different from standard pack that comes with the machine. If I’m looking to sharpen some dull kitchen knives which belts should I choose and how many strokes per side should I do?
Ha ha ha ha I can understand that sentiment if that’s the case I think it’s a great option for you. I have other ninja products and I’ve been very happy with the quality
The reviews I have seen say it’s a great machine. That being said there are drawbacks. Since the grinder is built in to the machine if it breaks you could be SOL. I find it’s better to have a separate grinder. I have also read where if you want to make coffee instead of espresso you have to turn the entire machine off since there is no way to toggle in and out of drink choices. These aren’t deal breakers but if you are looking exclusively for an espresso machine I would recommend the Breville bambino plus with the Baratza Encore ESP. Both can be had for under $500 total and can crank out very good quality espresso.

Plex Server add request

I don’t really understand exactly how this works. If anyone would be so kind to add me to their server so I can start to get the hang of this I would greatly appreciate it. I absolutely will return the favor. My username is chad.s86.

Thanks in advance.

All the same use to be able to grind on the 15-16 setting on the esp.

It would grind great, and could pull a shot with no issues within the 30 sec range. Now it comes out in 20-25 seconds and sprays everywhere.

I use French truck beans within a good roast date.
