Jamon Iberico is the most overrated food I've ever eaten.

Banana’s Foster

I’m shaking my head.

Do you even know the history/origin of bananas foster?

Take your time and look it up.

I’ve served countless numbers of orders……table side

Vanilla ice cream, light brown sugar, a ton of butter, touch of cinnamon, sautéed bananas, and flaming rum.

Really

I love coffee and all types of coffee - Starbucks tastes like spent motor oil to me
same.

Coffee in the shacks that look like snowball stands in Alaska and Montana are legit though.

But even dunkin donuts, McDonald's, racetrac, and buccees beat Starbucks. Starbucks is clutch for drive thru unsweetened iced tea in Yankee land though.

Short story

Owen Brennan of Brennan’s Restaurant
Challenged chef Paul Belange to create a desert with bananas

There was always an over abundance of bananas at the port of New Orleans

Chef Paul Belange created the dish…

Owen Brennan’s idea

Chef Paul Belange’s creation

It was named after Owen Brennan’s friend

Richard Foster

Don’t let anybody tell you anything different.

OMG, what year is it?

Look, I prefer to support locally owned places, but Starbucks has offered lighter roasts for 10 years now.

I don't think non coffee drinkers are the number one demographic for downloading a Starbucks app

Someone else made the comment about always having to wait in line there.

But the guy can't download the app to pick up something for his wife every now and then?

Four pages in and not one mention of Fleur de Lis pizza.

I agree.

As a kid I got punished bc I said I didn’t like it

One time I went and it was rotten, not when those people got sick off the stuffed peppers

Never understood my mother’s fascination with that place, Mr. Steve’s (Favalora’s) in Arabi was much better

I’m with you. Just because he’s not a coffee drinker he refuses his wife’s request every time?

Bread bowls.

Just a dumb concept. You can’t eat the bread with the soup so you are left with a soggy piece of bread that’s just a big carb overload.

Man that bisque in the bread bowl at Vincent’s is pretty ballin. Scoop some off the inside with every bite.

My wife will call me when she knows I'm in town and ask me if I'll go get her something from there.

The answer is ALWAYS NO.

Oh man, you are so cool for not doing something nice for your wife

You can always park and go inside, I don't think I've ever waited for more than 5 minutes inside.

It's not the best coffee by any stretch, and I mostly choose to go to local coffee spots, but it'll work in a pinch.

People are gaga over prime beef. To me, it's not worth the money. And yes, I'm poor.
