What’s a good lunch spot around Beaumont?

Will be heading to Houston Friday... wanting to stop somewhere for lunch... doesn’t have to be Beaumont but maybe something 45 minutes either way?

Lupe Tortilla, but for some reason, this location the two times I have went wasn’t on the same level as the ones found in Austin and Houston.
Pappadeaux’s is a safe choice as far as consistency goes.

there is a soul food place in a neighborhood on the west end south side of the interstate off of the service road I believe that is really great food and people. I'm sure a local can give you the name.Sorry,I just cannot remember but it is worth your effort.

I heard that Tia Juanita’s in Winnie is really good (used to be Al T’s). Also can’t beat Lercy’s for home style grub in Winnie as well. Then there is the Crawfish Place in Anahuac.
