I’m gonna try to make some homemade wings in the oven, toss em in some baby rays Buffalo sauce. Hope they turn out alright. Doing a test run tomorrow, have 6 in the fridge now.

Probably going to make a few Costco hot dogs too. Not fancy, but my god, they are the best hot dogs you can get.

Knocking the pastrami out today. I use this Katz inspired rub recipe, smoking with cherry. LINK

Since it’s gonna be cold as all get out here in KC this weekend I got a jump start by smoking some sausage balls.

Do you cook them in oven before smoking or place in smoker and cook them per oven instructions?

My contribution is some fresh ground smoked brisket meatballs in some sweet baby’s rays. Because that’s what I had on hand.

I’m not watching the game because I just gave up pro football a few years ago. But I did put some beef ribs on the green egg. Its a fine day outside and the smell makes it nice.

picked up a tray of drumettes and a tray of deviled eggs from Calvin's Bocage market...
Eggs are really good...
the drumettes are dry and no flavor...disappointing...
