re: What was the first beer you ever had?

I stole a Milwaukees Best out of an ice chest that one of my dads friends left at our
House. I was like 12 or so.

It had been sitting in the garage for like a week in hot melted ice water.

I snuck it under my shirt and ran to the bathroom to “shower”.
I got halfway through it and couldn’t finish it.

The next beer I had was a Fat Tire on a college trip in Colorado. ( I didn’t start drinking until senior year of college) I’ve def. Made up for lost time in that end of things.

I basically went straight into craft beer. Never mowed down the Ab in bev stuff like
Most people do.
I shudder to think how much money I’ve spent on this damned craft beer hobby the last 15 years

I think it was some old bud lite or miller lite in my parents' fridge that had been leftover from a family party a few months before. It tasted awful. Made me not want to even try another beer for a couple years.

It wasn't my first, but for some reason this is all we drank when I was 17/18.
