My dad worked for the local Budweiser distributor for 30 years so I probably had a sip of Bud when I was like 3 or so if I had to guess. Used to buy my beer for road trips straight off the truck back in them days

Don't remember my first beer but I remember my first legal beer. A 32 oz (I think, was a big bottle) shiner bock purchased at the circle k on Brightside. It was about 1230 am and I was peeved they didn't Id me.

I waited until 12:01am the morning of my birthday and the bouncer let me in since I was technically legal.

Miller Lite Pony at the duck camp when I was 10 or 11.

That question will date most people. My first beer was one of my old man’s pbr back in the early 70’s. Was known as swill by young people then. Went to Rolling Rock as it was cheap cheap and also known as a low brow beer. Then Miller ponies which were popular. Lived long enough to see PBR and Rolling Rock become pop icons with young beer drinkers. Just shows how garish beer is. Give me a good old Schlitz on tap or Bud Light longneck now at 65.

The haji at the Circle K on State Street around ‘90 was a fricking bulldog when it came to showing an ID. Carded me every time I tried to buy beer until the day I turned 21. He never asked me again. And I so badly wanted to show that ID saying I was legal.

Had a few sips here and there, but the first full can I drank was Olympia. Uncle gave it to me on a fishing trip.

The only first that matters to me is Anchor Steam, as that was the first beer that opened my eyes to other beers.
Love Anchor Steam. I once got a personal guided tour of the brewery from one of their brewers. Long story. But when he took me into the room where they store the hops, that smell...that’s how I learned where the flavor comes from and what hops are all about. It was an eye opener.

Anyone ever drink Rolling Rock beer? Drank some when I was stationed at Ft. Belvoir, VA in the 70's.
We drank Rolling Rock by the truckload during our teenage party days. Also Old Vienna splits.
