I saw that one, but hate that style where the bowl moves up and down. I've used both and just don't think it supports the bowl well for better mixing/scraping

I was on for a little while. Too much concentration required.

Jones ordered the Anova today.

I didn't realize he wanted it. I saw it on fire sale for $99 recently. He should have bought it then

You might want to look around for a vacuum sealer while you're at it. Some may say you don't need it as there are a few ziplok hacks, but the results are better with the vacuum sealer.

I would rather them have less deals but make sure they have more in stock. It isn't even about stock because once the deal is sold out you can still buy the same product at regular price. I know they have to have a limit but there is no reason for nearly every item to be sold out in 30 seconds.

I did end up getting the Pressure Cooker though that is a 6 in 1. Can't wait to give it a try. It was available most of the day, I finally bit the bullet when I saw 95% claimed and right after buying it the deal was over and on a waitlist. Cut that close.

Are ziplok's ok to cook stuff in? I've heard the plastic isn't safe for cooking.

1) Take 1 angus ribeye
2) Add 1 tbspn water to ziplock bag
3) Add ribeye to ziplock bag
4) Poke holes in ziplock bag to release the flavor
5) Microwave on high for 10 minutes
6) Take pictures
7) Post on instagram
8) Profit

Another Anova check in. I'm kicking myself for not buying the food saver.

Yeah. It's the only thing I bought that I didn't do no rush shipping for.
