In an average week, what do you think you eat the most?
Beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, fish, etc…
Obviously beef is the tastiest, but I eat chicken probably every other day.

Chicken. But only because of the price of beef.
I wish I had a good supply of venison but it cost a hell of a lot more than beef.

Chicken - mostly just because it is the most versatile, recipe wise.
Beef and fish probably tied for the 2nd spot.

Pretty even between pork and chicken at the moment.
Actually eating more fish products than beef right now too. Shrimp, catfish, trout are cheaper than beef.

I can go the rest of my life without chicken and be just fine. Plus, chicken is more expensive than beef lately. frick chicken.
Beef. Local when feasible.
I buy about 30lbs of pork at a time from my beef farmer.

You need to change your market if chicken costs more than beef.
I can get leg quarters from Rouses for $.59 a lb., they put split breasts on sale for $.99 a lb. and whole fryers are $.97 a lb.
You're not getting ANYTHING beef related anywhere near that cost.

I am sick of chicken so I try to limit my intake, I still enjoy a thick grilled pork chop, so pork is 1st. Beef doesn't agree with my wife, so some nights I'll grill a breast for her and a NY strip for me right out of the sous vide onto the grill.
Ounce for ounce, shrimp are a bargain, I like a kung pao stir fry with them.

Chicken and pork by a mile. I love beef, but I always seem to get some sort of chicken and just do different shite with it. I get pork a lot just because its so damn cheap.

By frequency? Salmon
By weight? Chicken
I eat a can of wild-caught Pacific Salmon 4 days a week, but it's only 6 ounces at a time. Most weeks I eat a little more chicken than that, mainly because the wife doesn't eat beef.

Chicken. It’s just more versatile than other meats so there are more dishes I use it in.

Yeah, I get chicken and ground beef on Tuesday when it's $2.99 and $3.99 at Fresh Market. They also sell leg quarters in a package of 2 for ~$1.50 so I get that from time to time.
When we want steaks, we are not heavy eaters so one steak between the two of us is plenty. I don't buy a lot of roasts or things like that.
Salmon is in the regular rotation, since it goes on sale a lot as well and is great in the air fryer. I get raw shrimp from LA Boilers sometimes, but that has decreased lately because I've been too lazy to peel.

eat alot of protein. turkey legs are cheap and when braised for long time taste pretty damn good. comparable prot to calorie comparison to chicken.
edit: preferred protein, probably lamb.

As of now, easily chicken. I'd like to move fish into first place - I don't cook it often enough.
