Outside of the main course, onions, corn, potatoes, and mushrooms, what do you put in that really comes out good?
You have corn listed...but I quit using corn on the cob in favor of leaving it in the can and punching holes in the can and tossing that in. the seasoned water gets in the can and soaks the kernels and you just open it with a can opener afterwards.

You must be from the Lafayette area.

After the boil, I include a Boston butt.
Boil for 30, soak for 40.
Soaks in all the seasoning and makes great sandwiches the next week.

I catch a lot of heat from people who think they’re experts, but I keep my boil simple to keep the emphasis on the crawdads. Boil in salt water, add in a little fresh lemon juice during the soak, then drain and empty into a big ice chest where they are liberally coated with Tony Chachere’s. Gives you just the right amount of flavor and heat on your lips from the shell without overpowering the true crawdad meat.
I don't believe you. You're trolling.

I was at a crawfish boil where they put in broccoli. It was actually really good because it soaked up the spice like a mofo

Boudin.
Do it once and you will never boil again without it.

For one sack of crawfish, 1 to 2 boxes of instant mashed potatoes instead of the small boiling potatoes. Just wait until the crawfish taste perfectly seasoned, then mix in the powder/flakes.

Yeah, I've considered broccoli. Couple of questions. How do you put a pinhole in an egg and get it to survive the berl? Second, I've tried Brussels sprouts, but they went to pieces. When's the add?

Was at one where they added oranges...that was weird.
