Impressive. That's a pass down to the next generation type of item. Bet he sells them as fast as he can make them.

I could not wait until tomorrow to smoke something on my Traeger, so I defrosted some wings.
Brined for 3 hours
Rubbed
185 deg for 70 mins
450 deg for 20 mins

My sons’ best friend makes wooden spoons. I asked for one this year. Very unique and the way he makes the handle has very comfortable grip in multiple locations. The spoon is also at a bias and angled. Hope the pictures do it justice.
Do you have a link to the guy' business?

What’s better… walnut or cherry?

I haven't figured out pics on TD yet. But this is it -
Stratocaster cutting board
It is about the size of a real guitar. Cool like a MF.

Collapsible prep bowl for marinating/rubbing
New cutting board
Mom got 2 sliced lemon squeezer and gave me 1. Kind of ridiculous, but a cool/fun gadget.

I think that choice is up to you, as to which color you prefer. Both are tight grained woods.

Got a set of Made In non stick skillets. 8-10-12. My 10 year old Scanpans were not so non stick anymore after heavy use.

bought myself a backup/secondary smoker. Weber Smoky Mountain 18”.
With 2 kids under 2 i don’t get to sit by my offset and tend the fire for 4-6 hours to smoke, so i wanted something a little easier to maintain temps. I’ve got a neighbor who makes pretty good BBQ on his, there seems to be a big WSM online community, and there are a lot of available mods for them on Amazon.
Will probably do some chicken and ribs on Wednesday to test it.
