Nothing wrong with that. The mayo tastes different on just that sandwich. Always wondered if it was a different one they used for it.

Golden Corral buffet. When I was a kid (circa late 1980’s/early 90’s) my little sister always wanted to go to Ryan’s Steakhouse for her birthday. Fond family memories of instant mashed potatoes, chicken drummies, and make your own ice cream cones off the buffet and mom ordering my sirloin steak well done without my having a say in the matter. Fast forward to today and every now and again I get the urge to go eat a piece of shoe leather well done sirloin with A1, a heap of instant potatoes and box brown gravy, and a pile of frozen, fried popcorn shrimp.

My wife won’t go with me so this most often happens when I’m traveling. I was in a small town recently and hotel was three doors down from a Golden Corral...que the guitars boys, it got ugly that night....

I bet you never get leg cramps.

Mine are Firecrackers, take a restaurant crackers from the basket and slather with hot sauce, preferably Tabasco.

I guess nobody's said this because they aren't around anymore, but Manuel's Hot Tamales. The original inspiration for the term "grease bomb".

This thread confirms without doubt the saying of “if you like X food, and you like X food apart, then you’ll definitely like them together”

Also agree with those that say syrup is good on basically anything

.

Grew up eating liver cheese and braunsweiger on white bread or crackers. Wasn't until I was an adult did I realize that not many other South La. households ate this. No idea why we ate it, but happy we did

Still buy a roll of it every few years. Wife and kids won't go near it

about once a year I'll dive right into a liver cheese and yellow mustard on white bunny bread. Funny because I don't care for liver and I can't stand yellow mustard on anything else. As a kid I was known to put cool ranch doritos on that sandwich on occasion but I'm too sophisticated for that these days.
