I hope you got sexual favors for that price. If not, you got screwed.

The Allen house supper remains illegal in several states...
Suck it, Pawl.

Spent $600 on a dinner for 2 in Paris and only had one bottle of wine, that was $160.

Guy Savoy's restaurant in Paris. It was the best meal I've ever had

The Restaurant at Meadowood in Napa Valley....it was delicious. FTR we couldn't get French Laundry reservations...

A meal that I've paid for? The max was probably $300-400 for 2 including booze and tip. I've had bills that were several thousand with clients on a company credit card though.
I just couldn't stomach paying thousands for a meal like some of you. I'd have to be worth millions

$400 for a lunch at French place just off Trafalgar square in London when I was 23 with my brother (Mom paid via her credit card!)
$300 for dinner and drinks with my bestie on my birthday last month at Ruth's.
[e]: Most expensive food I've ever eaten per serving is a selection of Russian sturgeon caviar at a friend's house who had me over for a tasting. I think it cost her $900 and it was just the two of us. She had a lot of money though.

Food only at French Laundry for the two of us was $1300+.
“Mr Crickets, would you like shaved truffles on this course?”
“Yes.”
Yes was my answer every time. Ouch
That doesn’t include wine. But I was prepared for what I was going to spend on wine. Their list is world class and we enjoyed it.
Food bill caught me a *bit* off guard.

Ruth's Chris with the wife for our 10 year anniversary earlier this month, ironically enough. We were out the door just over $500 including tip.
How do you spend that much at Ruth’s Chris for 2? I assume it was mainly expensive wine?

This, I would assume. You can spend well over $500 on a single bottle if you really want.

It wouldn't have been close to this without wine right?

There have been a few posters here who have been and talked about it.
Definitely on my list as well. I'll go next time I make it to Chicago for sure.
