re: Cypress Coast Brewery - whatchamacallit
10,000 Paperweight and French Truck Porter were my favorite. Gonna keep grabbing a couple crowlers each week to try and help them make it. Hell of a time to launch a craft brew place. Good luck to them.......

re: Favorite Green Tea Brands - whatchamacallit
Costco has some in bottles that I love. It's called Ito En Oi Ocha. Made with Japanese green tea and it is sugar free. It's made with water, green tea, and vitamin C. re: Wood fence builders ? - whatchamacallit
Not a recommendation, but just some friendly advice. My fence has been incomplete for about 5-6 weeks because pressure treated 6 foot boards are hard to find. My fence person keeps telling me he is checking everyday for boards, but as of today, my project is only about 1/2 to 2/3rd's complete....I've...

re: What's the vibe in Florida right now? - whatchamacallit
Key West is requiring masks inside AND outside... Most places are open except for places that are exclusively bars. They are closed...i.e Sloppy Joe's and a few others on Duval. But most places that are bars with food are open. They are strict about the masks. Cops were hitting their p.a.s in crowde...

re: Anyone do live music in BR at restaurant tonight? - whatchamacallit
It's a shame La Contea doesn't have very good food or atmosphere, because Jim is awesome! I decided last time I went on a Thursday, that I was just going to hang out at the bar and have some drinks to listen to Jim croon. He's a super nice guy with a old school feel. He should find a new Italian res...

Cypress Coast Brewery - whatchamacallit
Does anyone have an update on when they may open? I know Covid probably doesn't have them in any hurry, but they didn't seem like they were in any hurry to begin with...going on over 18 months. I'm also curious when Government Taco might open right by them. Is it some sort of coordinated opening th...

re: Grand Isle Sea Farms and Southern Belle Oysters ...Updated w/Pics - whatchamacallit
I ordered some this past week. They were delivered last Thursday. I ate them on Saturday. They were fantastic. They weren't huge like a traditional oyster but they were the perfect size with full meat. I hate some on the half shell and I ate some chargrilled. I shared with another couple and they al...

re: Friday night restaurant experiences - whatchamacallit
I went to Ruffinos last night....very pleasant experience with masked/gloved service staff. I had a 6:15 reservation and was seated promptly by a masked hostess. Food, service, and drink were all very good. I actually enjoyed the extremely spread out tables. It made for a very private experience....
