I don't like eating a big lunch, because then I'm tired the entire afternoon and I get nothing accomplished.

Plus I've been trying to eat healthier, so sandwiches are typically out.

Salads are always a good choice, but gets old after a while.

My vote is for sushi. Plenty of variety, not extremely unhealthy, and filling but not to the point that I need a nap.

I have a sandwich almost every day, usually pressed panini style. There are like 4 different brands these days of 45-calorie per slice bread. I prefer the Pepperidge Farm version. My sandwich is 200 calories max. Have with Greek yogurt, or a fruit cup and Cheez Its/Goldfish.

Sometimes, like this week, I swap out the 45 cal bread with an Xtreme Wellness wrap which is 50cal for the whole thing.

You're right about sushi though. When I don't bring lunch, I walk down to the grocery store down here and get one of the ~400 or so calorie sushi rolls.

I do know that sandwiches can be healthy. I use Ezekiel bread often. Honestly, the eating healthy thing was more of a useless side note than anything else.

I just grabbed some sushi for lunch, which I hadn't done in a while, and it got me thinking about the best work lunch options.

I will say that one of the downsides to sushi is that it's not cheap, even when getting it from the store.

I eat a turkey on white with cheese and mustard with salt and pepper every day for lunch at work for 250 calories and it is a filling sandwich.

I pack a couple of banh mi for lunch. Pickle my own vegetables and I grab some Vietnamese bologna from the Asian mart. Sriracha mayo, cucumber and cilantro.

I get them $3 salads from WalMart and add a can of Tuna. That's not the GOAT lunch. GOAT lunch for me is a Poke Bowl from Poke Lau, even though I can swing $15 a day for lunch, I rather not.

Ezekiel bread? Xtreme slices?

Isn’t it amazing how every other country in the world can just eat normal food and not be fatties.
