Chai Thai Lao and Thai Pepper are where we go usually. I miss the TP buffet.

Thai Pepper. There’s a lot of other places that are solid, but Thai Pepper is just a clear cut above the others.
I also like Duang Tawan, Thai Kitchen, and the Thai popup inside the Spanishtown Grocery.

I like Thai Kitchen. To be honest though, I don't travel across town for Thai food. Duang Tawan is excellent but been a long while since i have been so things could have changed.

I haven’t found anything in Houston close to Rama. RIP. Felt like I was in a carnival fun house when I’d pick up food with all of the mirrors and 4 ft tall servers.

I liked eating there during the week when it wasn't so crowded. Everything cooked fresh to order with prices surprisingly low. Shrimp chips, couple rounds of Singha beer, lemon grass soup, and some entrees were never more than $30.

I literally ate their once ir twice a week when they had the buffet. I would pull through nearly every Saturday.

Don't sleep on Sweet Rice out in Central. They have some pretty legit Thai food too.
