I'll be up there next week and will check out Rufina.

Doooo eeeet! Like the environment much better. Not that I don't like the Rail Yard, + Bosque is across the tracks and there is some kind of boutique distillery opening across the street on the tracks, too.

Midtown Brewery (Shangri-La Hotel) Hangzhou China. Great beer and cool setting. The Brewmaster was super nice and gave me a tour of the facility. He said trying to pitch IPA's, Pale Ale's and Sours to the Chinese owners was extremely difficult as they wanted every beer to taste like Budweiser or Heineken. We spent some time in the hops freezer trying different hops, tasting beers from the line and learning all about his marketing a brewery in China. Amazing stuff.

In the US:

Ninkasi Eugene, OR
Big Beach Orange Beach, AL
Proof Tallahassee, AL
Blind Squirrel Brewery Plumtree, NC (unfortunately been closed for a while)

Headed to Bayou Teche next Saturday really looking forward to checking it out!

Beer is average but I like the atmosphere at No Label in Katy. Urban South has a great set up in NOLA.

Going to Philly in a few weeks and a quick search yielded over 90 brewery taprooms! Anyone have a few favorites there?

In state I’d give it to Harpoon. Not the best beer in the state by any stretch but good beer, cool atmosphere, and their homemade pretzels alone are worth the visit.

I agree Harpoon is a great visit. Not sure what I'd compare it to here, maybe New Realm in Atlanta because it's merely ok beer but the atmosphere is fun and it's easy to kill several hours.

Allagash is very good. Bold Monk is a good one in Atlanta.

Great Raft and Parish have amazing beer, but their tap rooms are pretty unremarkable.

Abita has a good experience even though the brews seem rated low to middle here. Tours, etc, at least pre-Chinese virus.
