Nem Nuong = Grilled ground pork + sugarcane stick
My high tech grill
Roll it up
Dip in homemade fish sauce
The good thing is that you can chew the sugarcane sticks after as palate cleanser.

N Asheville. Curate and 12 bones closed. Ribeye at Red Stag. Surprisingly good.

Did you do anything with the ground pork, seasoning or marinade wise? This is our type of eating. Vermicelli bowls and spring rolls are in the very regular takeout rotation.

Thanks. Made it for the wife since she’s been taking care of the baby around clock. She deserved it.

We're on vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have an amazing cabin on the top of a mountain with one hell of a view.
Grilled ribeyes, asparagus, baked potatoes and some crusty bread with butter.
Lots of red wine.

Threw a couple of pork chops in a brine before leaving for work, this morning and threw them on the grill tonight. :)

The pork I bought at the Asian market. It's frozen and already seasoned. Just thaw it out and cook it. You can shape it like small hot dogs and pop in the oven and it'll taste fine. I like all kinds of food but focus on mostly Vietnamese food in the daily thread.
