Stuffed bell peppers.

I thought I’d try something completely different with this garbanzo bean salad. It needs something. Possibly to be thrown away! I’ll try to fiddle with it, first.

Friend,

On my ongoing pilgrimage to find for you, my dear friend, the best sno-balls in New Orleans, I braved Seabrook today, which is not nearly as harrowing as the High Rise, or even the Danzinger. I was going for a repeat visit at Brain Freeze, Etc., located adjacent to Castnet Seafood. I must have arrived too early, for they did not answer when I knocked on the window. For the record, I do not know why they have Etc. in the name nor do I know what MAGARITA is, and assume it is a Trump supporter's flavor.

I could smell the fryers and could not resist, so I got a shrimp poorboy and a fried softshell crab. The crab was overcooked, empty, and a waste of $7.50. The shrimp poorboy, however, was marvelous. Castnet has the best shrimp poorboys in town, even better than Danny & Clyde's.

It was so filling, I may even skip my night meal. I am enjoying hearing about Jesus breaking chains during The National and Global Day of Repentance and Prayer.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

I love a cold garbanzo salad. Try some ground cumin, olive oil, roasted garlic and lime juice.

Friend,

I would love for you to show me the best snowball in New Orleans. I understand for some reason natives have great pride about the snowballs there. For me, I have not experienced anything that has separated from the pack. Surely I have just not been to the right place?

I understand the soft shell crab can be disappointing after experiencing Impastado’s not too long ago, which receives the highest recommendation from yours truly. Perhaps a trip to Impastado’s followed by a snowball could settle the great debate.

Best,
Lonestar23

Friend,

In addition to TulaneLSU's Poorboy Tours of New Orleans, I think I will branch off and do a weekly TulaneLSU's Snoball Tours of New Orleans. Or perhaps do a biweekly combo deal where we do both poorboy and snoball tours! That would be magnificent, especially if I could share some stories and history with you and others here, my dear friends. Once the license is approved and the tour bus is repaired, it must happen! New Orleans can only rightly be understood through the lens of the poorboy and snoball, and I will show you.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Awesome idea. Open up TulaneLSU’s Church For The Clean, TulaneLSU’s New Orleans Stock Exchange, and TulaneLSU’s Whore House ForThe Sober n’ Saved while your at it , Chief.

Knock yourself out, NOLA business tycoon.
