I made homemade baguettes and homemade pasta today. Had my pasta over some lamb ragu I defrosted from when I made it a little while back. Wife didn't like the ragu so I did her pasta with shrimp and pesto. First time making homemade pasta and very pleased with the outcome.

Skilled fried a bit of Spam and caramelized some onions and made a sandwich. Tasty.

Pretty pasta by the way. Always like it made at home. Just tastes better to me done that way.

Stopped at a local BBQ/comfort food joint after running errands. Had a late lunch/early dinner.

I had the smoked turkey club (on toasted sourdough) with a side of mac & cheese. Couple of cocktails as well.

It was awesome and I'm excited to finish off my leftovers in about an hour.

Made a croque madame for each of us per Alton browns recipe. The mouth feel and the texture were spot on but it was just too “herby”. Next time I will cut the thyme out completely and it will be spot on.

Easy to do and the family loved it.

Cooked a pot of chili. Had some cheesy bread and slaw to go with it. Fed my bartender. :)

Special at the restaurant near the house was salad, cup of potato soup, and half of a club sandwich. It was very good.
