I’ve been maybe 3 times and was never impressed. I feel like it’s a tourist trap, but I believe a lot of locals go there. Two times my fried items were cooked in old grease and the third was just average.

There are two things on the menu that I go for. 1. The French fries. I love them for some reason. 2. The pepper jack shrimp with a cardinal sauce. That sauce is really good with the shrimp. Everything else is meh imo.

I can’t believe you returned to that tourist trap after your first experience. Trust me, you weren’t there on two off-days. Place is disgusting every day.

Is this the same Prejean's that does the pheasant and quail gumbo at jazzfest? That gumbo is the bomb, so I'm surprised the restaurant seems so bad.

Where would you go then for good Cajun food? We are headed to Lafayette in a few weeks.

It’s been doing food for a very long time. Something must be right.

Incorrect. Lots of locals that either don't know any better or just have low expectations.

Service is terrible.. so is the food.
