Played Windance, shell, bear and Diamondhead cardinal a month ago.

Windance was in great shape but greens were concrete and sanded then. Get a players card from the island view and it also takes care of your entire group that doesn’t have a card. The pro shop literally told us they don’t care and you can keep swiping a players card for the whole group.

Shell-spectacular shape a month ago. Don’t remember a single box in rough shape. Carr path only that day and still was in great shape.

Bear- was in good shape as well, greens and boxes were not as great as shell but still good but WAY OVERBOOKED. Was cart path only because of the inches of rain it got overnight and took 6 hours to complete the round from the walking and the amount of people on the course.

Cardinal - had the best greens of all 4 courses of the weekend. Bunkers left a lot to be desired and we could tell they haven’t been maintained in a couple of weeks. Definitely a different type of course than the other 3 but greens were spectacular. A lot more shot shaping on this course than the others mentioned.

Hard to almost impossible to even get unless you can provide a link to one for sale NEW.
I am wondering if the C2 will drop in May (Memorial sale) like it did last year and like the C1 did.
What the subject line says. Looking at LG's C2 model and has not dropped in price and the C3 model is about hit the shelves so was thinking we should see a price drop in previous year models.
From a 11# Turkey carcass?

Recipes online are vague but I’ve been able to stretch a carcass to make 3 quarts or so(typically a 12-14#) with the stock still being flavorful. Guess it may depend on how much seasoning and other produce you put in…?

Is my math off?

Crawfish app

Based on my search in Prairieville area most vendors have closed up though. May have to resort to grocer’s.
You can build the bark all you want but as soon as your wrap, that bark can turn to mush.

I spritz mine every 1 1/2 hours through the cook and that develops amazing bark and also keeps it moist without having to wrap.

I use a dalmation rub with garlic powder. Apple cider vinegar and apple juice base for my spritz.

ETA: My wording was off. If you build a bark for hours by spritzing like I do, once you wrap it, the bark can really soften and not be crisp anymore. That’s why I spritz and don’t wrap.

Good to know. I’ll be going there soon then to try.

Not trying to hijack, but I was in Atlanta last weekend and I had by far the best Indian food.

Best Indian food out there

Some run of the mill counter worker at Cane’s isn’t going to have the Cane’s recipe. It’s made in BR by a business specifically for them. Not hard to get close though.

False. The GMs at every location make it every morning. Only employee at each location that have the recipe. Reason I know this is because I have a friend that works in the exec office in BR and has told me this.

re: Dialing in wedges

I have a 10.5 index handicap trying to break into single digits now. So I’d like to get wedges really dialed in to where if I have for instance a 70-75 yard shot into the green, I would know that is either a full 60 perhaps or a 1/2 swing 56, depending on what type of shot I may want to do.

This is more like figuring out how far a 1/2 shot with a 52,56 and 60 degree goes rather than picking a target at a range. Not really all that convenient with a range finder unless you can shoot your ball that you just hit and see how far it went.

Dialing in wedges

I am trying to dial in my wedge yardages with full shots, 3/4 and 1/2 swing, as Peter Finch likes to call a WADC.

Does anyone have any recs on the best way to get these yardages down without access to a launch monitor? Or paying a place like golf tech. I have tried all the free or low priced launch monitor apps and none of them I have found are reliable enough for this.
