They announced it to their employees in Houma today. Last day is May 13. I know you guys will mourn the loss of another chain.

Didn't know NOLA had one. Doesn't shock me it would close. Houma is a surprise doe.

Fit right in with the clientele

Isn't there one on the east bank too?

The one in Metairie will become a Walk-Ons. Same owners as twin peaks from my understanding, but not the same franchise as most of the other walk-ons where Brees is now a part of.

Every time I have been to the Houma one it has been packed. Kinda surprising

This is good news. Curious to see what will be next in that building. Hopefully not another chain or Chinese buffet.

The one time I went there, it was filled with tattoo covered meth heads posing as waitresses.

Guess serving food with a side of Herp wasn't a great idea after all...

Yes, they found businesses to assume their leases. Not sure how involved Brechtel hospitality is.

The poor girls are going to need to go back to stripping.

Is the Houma economy that bad? Oil prices?

Yes, from what I've heard

No, my understanding is the Legacy kitchen guys are doing it. They are turning Metairie location to a walk ons and the west bank and Houma locations into Legacy Kitchens.

Finally! So glad we're getting a solid local joint instead of another chain.
