How does the Walk Ons in Houma do? Seems like they would share the same clientele perhaps, wonder if this is a shot in the arm for WO's or a sign that their struggles could just be beginning.

Last time I was there, during March Madness, we went in on a Thursday night and it wasn't all that busy at all. Was kind of surprised. For some reason I think BWW does great in Houma, but these other restaurants of similar style aren't. Hooters is still kickin' too I think.

I'm sure Walk On's is doing fine. They are on the back end of what is called a honeymoon. That period when you first open and your are just killing it. I would bet they are starting to see where they are leveling off at. If I had to list it out how busy the sports restaurants are it would be:
1. Walk On's
2. Hooters
3 BWW
1. Walk On's
2. Hooters
3 BWW

Yep. But it's a pretty sizable drop off from Hooters to BWW. They gotta be struggling too. The oil industry decline coupled with them coming out against guns in their place are what's doing them in. I know that's why I quit going. But Chick-fil-A has slam full double-car drive thru lines at all times during the day. I know they're not the same style place as the other three but that place is just printing money.
People on here celebrated cheap gas (and still are) and said it wouldn't affect other businesses besides maybe Ford and Yeti but Houma is a prime example of that being false.

I still go to BWW in Houma on Thursdays and you can easily see the effect of the oil/gas bust. Place was always packed but nowadays there are only a handful of people when I go.

They put Twin Peaks out of business, almost always a wait. My wife and kids like so we go once every 3 months or so. Me and the wife have been to Twin Peaks twice and got sick both time along with a few others who were with us.

Haven't seen a wait except on the weekends as of late. Chick fil a and texas roadhouse are killing it right now. The real. Mystery is how Sarah a Mediterranean stays open. I never see that place busy. I just hope everybody nags on through this. I really do hate to see people lose their jobs.
