They are turning Metairie location to a walk ons and the west bank and Houma locations into Legacy Kitchens.
Unless they tinker with their price points, this is going to be a rough go for them. Legacy is to me the second most over priced place in Metairie. Pretty good quality, but I'm not sure this price structure is going to go over well on the westbank and in Houma.

I agree. Food is good but way overpriced.

It's pretty $$$ for what it is, I agree.
What do you think is the most overpriced? The Galley?

Bingo!!! The Galley is just stupid on pricing. Good for them that they can still bring in the crowds. Not for me any longer though.
And I rarely complain about pricing.

It'll be fine. Houma restaurant scene can be best described as "if you build it, they will come". shite, Texas Roadhouse still has 1+ hour waits on the weekends, it's insane.

Looking at the menu they will last 6 months in Houma

We had word a week or so ago that the leases were taken over. Brechtel had approached walk ons about all three locations last year. I knew it was only a matter of time before they found someone and got out.
Yes the economy is bad. Idown about 5-7k a week. Fortunately, I'm not paying on all of my construction and renovations. Paying a note on a couple million dollar building right now would be hell.

Those twin peaks were hemorrhaging money. They couldn't get out of there fast enough. It's bad when a place makes Hooters look classy.

They are an anomaly but so far they've delivered good food, good service, at a real good price.

Well someone is mismanaging money big time atleast at the Houma location.
They seems to always be packed when we pass by.

Do you work for Twin Peaks or Hooters?
Thought you were at Hooters in Slidell? I heard your franchisees are looking to sell, do you know anything about that?

Not only their pricing, but last time we ate there, my dad and I both got sick. Never giving that place a dime again.

Hmmm. Metairie has a WOW in same location. It's a smaller version but still a place with sports on tv.
My guess is that the clients at the Houma location also are big in the oil and gas industry.

Is the Houma economy that bad? Oil prices?
Very much, yes. The economy down here is cal lapsing more each day. People are still getting laid off. It's not just the oil field. Its affecting many other industries because they're tied to the oil field, somehow.

Not ours. It would be a complete surprise to find that out. I never made the move to Slidell as I decided to stay in Houma.

Every time I have been to the Houma one it has been packed. Kinda surprising
The last year there have been a lot less F250s in the parking lot. When it first opened it was hard to tell if it was a Twin Peaks or Terrebonne Ford.

They hired too many DTB sweppas, baw. That's the real reason for the decline.
