You ain't lying. A Waffle House cheeseburger is thing of beauty. I'm also partial to the cheese n' eggs with raisin toast, A

Live large and get the double angus cheeseburger.

Or add an extra egg to the cheese eggs and raisin toast, soft scrambled.

Finish off with Aunt Maggie’s Triple Chocolate Pie and coffee.

My go to is usually the Texas bacon, egg, and cheese melt with hashbrowns scattered, smothered, and covered.

Those that know WH know that the above is the correct order night or day.

The All Star special is all anyone needs to know about when visiting Waffle House.

This.

Man I miss Waffle House. If someone opened up a franchise here they’d make a fortune.

I always get the All Star special, at least so far. 3/3. Seems to be a decent value. WH bills increase pretty quickly. I wish it were cheaper, but the quality justifies the relative high price.

As for the fake butter, I'm not against oil based butters. Not as good as real butter, but they're not bad. The same cannot be said about fake maple syrup.

In honor of Waffle House, I will finish Percy's Love in the Ruins today.

I don’t think I had ever heard of the chain until 2011. I would assume most native New Orleanians without much travel to poor areas in the South will say the same.
Lol what? Any New Orleanian driving to LSU or Houston would pass several Waffle Houses along I-10. The ones in BR at the Highland and Siegen exits aren’t exactly in poor areas.

Dear Friend,

Thank your for correcting my error. I was as a child diagnosed with mild dyslexia so I often get numbers and names backward. I love your name and would happily trade mine for yours except that several people here hate me and the mob might come after you if you used my name.

CheddAr, I have not. Thank you for the suggestion.

Yours,
TulaneLSU
