Good luck with that.. I would suggest they should not stretch themselves too thin considering current product.

I wish they would’ve opened one in the NOLA area

The only time I went to the shed it was pretty average. The brisket was kind of dry. The sausage wasn't that great. I guess they save their good stuff for the competitions, because they have a lot of awards on the wall.

The sides were pretty good.

Shitty atmosphere with even shittier BBQ. Not sure how that place stays open.

Harsh responses today. Shed is far from the best BBQ around but damn. BR has a lack of decent BBQ outside of Hannah so give it a chance at least.

See, I’ve had Hannah twice and was not impressed twice. Expensive and not good.

The Shed is popular because it’s popular. It’s in a spot where people travel often and it’s a kooky place to stop. People perceive it as being much better than it is because they want it to be that great hidden gem. I’ve eaten there twice as well and found it average. Nothing great, nothing terrible.

I don’t see that model working in the Oasis location. Personally, I don’t want to go eat at a volleyball court. It makes me not want to go. Then add in the fact that nothing could last in that location and it looks like the same guy who couldn’t make a bar and grill work there may be the one opening the Shed there and I’m not optimistic about it one bit. Will the same muscle heads be there handing out drinks to the fake ID girls and using the bar for their own party reasons?

That being said, I welcome any new bbq place to town and I hope they thrive.

A Persian flaw. Gotta become more cerebral to understand.

It'll probably be better than BRQ... but that's not saying much.

So where does one find better than average BBQ in the greater Baton Rouge area?

Oak and Smoke is good but is a food truck that comes around every couple weeks.

Restaurant wise it’s a pretty grim situation

What about Old School on Coursey?
Heard it's legit, but haven't checked it out yet.
