1000% disagree with Tennessee. Best ribs are in Memphis. Memphis best ribs to me are Central BBQ.

The all-time greatest pork chop, while not BBQ, is from Perry's.

I love the pork chop bites over there.

I figured they were just trying to be edgy by going with a Nashville place over Memphis FOR RIBS.

Makes me want to go back for some ribs

The degree of separation on pork ribs in Nola at the various BBQ places is pretty small. Depends more on the timing of when they come off the pit.

I am not counting the ones that don't use a pit.

beef ribs are another animal and for whatever reason they are hard to find down here. Probably cost.

I rarely see beef ribs down here.

but when they bring out that one from Perry's your friends will understand. It's not just huge, it's perfect in every way also.

One can actually buy Perry's delicious chop through mail order!

Perry’s has a pork chop lunch special on Friday’. It is a 3 rib cut if I remember right. So good.

Never been to the Denver location.

But, if anyone gets a chance to eat at the original Smoking Yard location in Idaho Springs, do it. Great little joint. Everything is good.

I went to the Joint last year for Father’s Day. Prices were still solid. Didn’t cost an arm and a leg like other bbq places. Food was still rock solid!

I went to Joe's Kansas city but didn't get ribs.

I've been to blacks and had their ribs.

The joint probably is the best pork ribs locally.

Peg Leg ribs are Memphis style, he calls it "West Tennessee" style.

Mississippi: Clay’s House of Pig, Tupelo

Clay's House of Pig is a bait and tackle shop with BBQ. You can get some minnows and crickets to go. The covid got Clay. He was in his late 40s. I haven't been there since he died and his kinfolk took over.

I’ve never been overly impressed with Coopers but I’m in the minority.

Luling City Market (the one actually in Luling) has always been my standard. Everything is stellar including the ribs, but those sausage rings alone are worth the drive.
