And anyone who says this is their favorite cuisine or food is delusional and want to pretend to be cultured.

You can use it to catch real fish.

Thanks for the info.

I’ll tell my personal chef to stop preparing it for me.

A post derisive of other's culture, yet grammatically incorrect and structurally unsound.

sushi is like an appetizer for me. It’s never satisfying enough to eat as a meal

Just had sushi for dinner. It was expensive, but it was good. Not something I get often but always enjoy it when I do.

I’ve never heard anyone say it’s their favorite food, but many people love sushi, me included.
It’s not even my favorite Asian cuisine. That would be Korean cuisine.

I will say Chinese food (from the strip mall restaurants, next to the nail salon) is a waste of money.

I made stir fry tonight. For $18, I feed 5 people with leftovers for lunch.

I’d never call Sushi my “favorite” and there are plenty of variations I don’t care for. But there’s also some that are pretty damn good.

For those in the Bham area looking for good sushi, I recommend you stop by Surin, either on Southside or 280, and order the Super Crunch. It’s excellent.

Most good sushi isn't cheap. Most cheap sushi isn't good, and can be downright dangerous. With that said, good to great sushi is fantastic, and something I crave every so often. Thankfully, South Louisiana is obsessed with sushi, so there's plenty of options. Personally, I think it's hard to beat the value at Sushi Masa. It's a little trashy, but so so good.

When I'm ready to go for quality over quantity, I usually hit up Sushi Yama next door.
