How has this place gone downhill so fast. Went there Saturday Night and this dude is seated wearing flip flops and a truckers hat. The food was still good, but how do they not have a dress code?

Ruth's Chris is much better, ab the same price, and probably less than a mile away from Sullivan's. They also would not sit anyone wearing what you described

I’ve seen some pretty sketchy clothing in Ruth’s too. Sadly.

Of the steakhouses in BR, Sullivan's is right above Longhorn. I'd rather RC, Does, or Flemings or several others.

Yeah I’ve seen some wind suits and t shirts in RC before. Kicking them out may get you cancelled these days.

Sadly, most places don’t care if you dress like you’re going to Home Depot on a Saturday morning. Proper attire is a dying art in todays world.

If I’m going out for steak in BR, I’m going to Ruth’s. Haven’t been in awhile, but I don’t really notice what others wear unless something is exposed.

Restaurants may have relaxed codes in these times to get business.

Worked there for nearly a decade. Went grab a drink with some friends at the bar on Sat around 8:30. I was shocked with how dead it was. Totally different from its heyday when I was there

ETA: literally had a female friend meet me there, we left and went to Ruth’s to grab food. We both also texted leo to mock how far it’s fallen. I’ll never go back on my own accord

Yet people don't understand why, some would over pay to dine at Supper Club. Baton Rouge restaurants have just simply decided they are more interested in making a $ than having standards. Sullivan's has always been 3rd tier to me anyway
