Went to Port Barre for a funeral today. on the way home we stopped at Billies I got 2 links of boudin, 10$ bag of cracklins and a quart of beer. the boudin was good but.....not in my top 4. The cracklins were very good good as they get IMO. a great stop and 1 more quart of beer got me home.

You messed up, Ray. Billy's boudin is good, but where they REALLY shine is their boudin balls and those eggroll things they make.

A pepperjack boudin ball and a half pound of cracklins from Billy's, and a pot of coffee makes for a fine and healthy breakfast.

I had some of their cracklins the other day and I thought they were kind of lackluster

Next time get 1 regular and 1 smoked (and 1 regular ball and 1 stuffed ball)

I have the opposite opinion of Billy's. Great boudin, but OK cracklins

quart of beer

I don't belive I've ever seen someone quantify beer in quarts, but

The smoked boudin from Billy’s is superior to all other links in the Acadian/ st Landry area

I love Billy's boudin and their hot foods, but is the place across the street really good? Do they have the same stuff as Billy's? Thanks!

They have so much more variety than Billy’s. Their hot head cheese is awesome, but everything I have had from Kartchiners has been excellent

Mowata Store has the best boudin I’ve ever experienced and it’s not close.

Word. Not sure if it’s still the case, but 15-20 years ago it was boudin perfection
