Word. Not sure if it’s still the case, but 15-20 years ago it was boudin perfection
Unfortunately it’s not anymore
It’s still good but used to be the best

There's nothing like a couple of pepper jack boudin egg rolls at 5 am on my way to fish.

Mowata Store has the best boudin I’ve ever experienced and it’s not close.
It's awful now, not the same thing it was 20 years ago.

Should have went to Kartchner’s across the street
I'd give maybe alight edge to Billy's smoked boudin. But Kartchner's is very good and they make an amazing smoked sausage as well.
LA has an embarrassment of riches. I think Kartchner's is the best all-around specialty store I've been to.

They're about to get into the game in Scott, LA. Building looks nice and I can't wait.

Sorry Baws but I am just an ole country guy and I haven't had a boudin fix in a while so I always get the ole fashioned basics. The stuff we usta stop in Port Barre for on the way to the camp its wht I was hungry for. I love all that fancy smoked fried stuff yall talking about but some times I wanna go back to my roots
