I've joked with one of the louisiana style Crawfish joints (so thankful they don't dust) we have that we need to go in together and start selling fried shrimp and roast beef only out of his location. Would absolutely kill it.

Nah, when Tibby's first opened 5-6 years ago they had Louisiana chefs/cooks and had real La staples brought in. It was very good, think they had Liedenheimer bread as well. They are the same group that has Tijuana Flats too.

Now they get their stuff from Sysco and it's damn near inedible. Last time I heard their andouille came from some outfit in Jacksonville.

I think Ricky P's in Tampa has some more authentic food.

Not a fan of South of Philly, I assume?

The Pastrami Poboy at AM Mart is one of my go-to's. It's Manda meat. I've never tried buying deli-meat from AM Mart but I don't see why they wouldn't sell some if asked.

Shreveport needs a good Korean place. There was actually a decent one in Bossier in the early 90s. They always served several bowls of kimchi and other pickled veg, like free chips and salsa, and they had a glass noodle soup with enough red pepper in it to blow your hair up.
