I knew something was up with their sides. The pig is good, however.

It would be so much better if they didn't! Too bad they don't have the patience to make them in house. This would be such a better stop.

Just heard from a friend of Paul Mladenka (Cou-yon's owner) that he is opening up a full-fledged Cou-yon's restaurant and daquiri shop (with drive-thru) in Port Allen. Maybe there he can concentrate on some decent side dishes.

I know that I have ranted a lot about the poor quality of theirmashed potatoes and gravy! I know that when barbecuing meats, you have s certain ammount of meat waste that could lend some serious flavor to the gravy & beans. Shame!

Didn't realize the old Alladin's had resurrected! That's exciting news. The buffet used to be very good, and the menu looks the same (with addition of the Ribs). Thanks for the heads up on this place.....

Shell Food Mart on Perkins....very good gyro & shawarma combo plate, and they also have those awesome Natchitoches meat pies.

They have pretty good fried chicken as well.

Just not a big fan. It's just ok to me.

Do they serve eggs or just muffins and such? I pass it all the time and need a little breakfast joint in that area.

Thank you.
I will tell the chef.

Pimanyoli's is outstanding.
The baked chicken is the best in town as are the baked beans.

The coffe bean has my favorite chicken salad in town.

They also have a poppy seed dressing that is delicious.

The buffet at Ronnie's Ribs only has Jamaican food on it. If you want ribs or Lebanese food, you have to order it separate.
