Looking to make a small batch for a side tonight
Doesn't matter what kind of coleslaw, I'll try anything out, just as long as it's in your opinion the best coleslaw recipe out there
Whatcha got FDB?

See what Alton Brown has to say on the subject.

If you are going to do it as a side just use a ranch instead of mayo with some cracked black pepper, a splash of white vinegar, sugar tossed with carrots and cabbage.

Step 1: Throw away coleslaw
Step 2: Evaluate your life decisions and why you make such bad choices
Step 3: Make/buy potato salad

You should have done this one from the Recipe. Thread

. German Style Coleslaw
Ingredients
1 head cabbage(sliced thin)
1 large red onion, sliced thin
1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup sugar
1 T Tony's, or salt,
red and black pepper to taste
Method Heat the last four ingredients in a sauce pan to a low boil. Pour over the cabbage and onion, tossing with tongs. Once cooled, refrigerate for two hours or more. It's better the next day but good any time. Turn it a time or two to insure the dressing marinates the salad well.

For some of us blue cheese is disgusting.
But good cole slaw rocks.

Far and away my favorite style. I'll eat the mayonnaise kind, but don't really prefer it.

My uncle shreds cabbage, dumps Ome high quality Sure Fine Italian Dressing on top and sprinkles it liberally with Tonys......... I love that stuff.
