If so, what do you recommend?

They have been excellent for many years. It is definitely a favorite for locals who work in the CBD, tourists are rare.

Friend,

I recommend walking down river a half mile to Johnny’s for the best poorboy in downtown New Orleans.

Uptown: Domilise's
Mid-City: Parkway
West Bank: Salvo's - my favorite. Eat some crawfish & drink a pitcher of beer while you wait for your sandwich.

Can't go wrong with any of the above.

Serio's is gross, the premises are sticky and disgusting, the ingredients low-quality, and worst of all is the LSU shite everywhere. Hard pass.

A good while back after a night in the Quarters, walking back to our car and saw a rat palooza fest running wild. Haven't been back since.

Should go with the muffuletta. I remember him going against Bobby Flay back in the day. Flay put mayo on his muff.

Surprised it’s still open considering all the business that’s left downtown. He probably serves more people in Omaha at a tailgate than at his restaurant

I think their roast beef is bland but they do everything else well.

Has to be laundering money. They are barely ever open.

Some coworkers finally caught them open one day. Everyone got sick. Your experience may be better.
