How do you eat it? Favorite recipes?

I find it tolerable with sausage, onions, and potatoes so far.

Good luck...lol. I never could. Lots of folks like it on hotdogs though.

Slow-cooked with a pork loin.

I freaking love sauerkraut. I could probably eat it out of the jar with a spoon

I could never get past the smell. Smells like you're about to eat a sweaty jock strap.

I love it, but then again I grew up eating Polish foods: pierogi, haluski, etc.... and of course a Reuben is probably the greatest sandwich ever created

To those saying they don't like it, have y'all only had the pasteurized kind? There's a big difference between the freshly fermented sauerkraut and the jarred stuff found at the supermarket.

I’d suggest trying to ferment your own if you are truly interested

It’s super easy

A lot of people don't know this, but you should rinse sauerkraut before eating it. It's a lot more palatable that way.

I like it on a hot dog. If you don't think ketchup belongs on a hot dog, try it on one with sauerkraut. It's a game changer.

Trader Joe's has delicious jar of it. It has cucumbers in it and I eat it right out of the jar with a fork. I don't know the brand name but I think it's the only one they sell.
