One of my favorite things to do is get up early Saturday morning and cook breakfast for the family. What is your favorite at home breakfast?
Mine is homemade cat head biscuits with sausage gravy, fried eggs and hash browns.

The weekends are the days the wife and I usually eat breakfast together since she is not retired and still works M-F.

Our usual is my home smoked bacon fried crispy, yard eggs from the neighbor that has hens that are producing more eggs than they can eat, whole wheat toast/buttered or hit with homemade pepper jelly, a side of fresh grated hash browns or a bowl of old fashioned grits, coffee and/or juice.

About once a month I'll cook some homemade breakfast sausage patties and make the sausage gravy to go over biscuits with a couple over easy eggs on the side.

8 egg omelette with a can of diced potatoes, crumbled, crispy fried bacon, diced onions and peppers and shredded cheddar cheese with a generous seasoning of Tony’s. This is sounding awesome, I may cook one right now!

I don't do it often, but a proper English fry up always hits the spot for me.

Eggs over easy, hasbrowns, sausage, black pudding, bacon, fried tomato, fried bread, and baked beans (I could give or take thr mushrooms, though).

We rotate a good venison pan sausage made from a deer we shot by Woodbury Processing in Kerrville TX, fresh smoked bacon from Bellville Meat Market down the road, or a quality chorizo. Found a new good one made in house at Granzin’s in New Braunfels. Add a dozen scrambled eggs, some hashbrowns, H-E-B tortillas, and Julios salsa. That’s a good Texas Breakfast for us.

Same here. Go-to is a breakfast hash with leftover vegetables from the weekend and maple sausage with cheese, cilantro, jalapeno, diced potatoes and crack an egg on top.

We love a good scramble loaded with vegetables, cheese and some kind of breakfast deer sausage.

Not my favorite, but this morning I melted some butter in a pan and cooked up a steak for my son… then deglazed the pan with some white wine and sautéed some fresh mushrooms and ate it over toast with some Gordon Ramsay-style scrambled eggs… tried one of those new Dr.Pepper Zero/Cream Soda that someone mentioned yesterday.

My favorite would probably be some variety of French toast & corned beef hash, maybe with some white toast and butter/jam

It’s my family’s go to. Seems to be the only meal that doesn’t seem to hit some member of my family’s bizarre food rules.

Bacon
Homemade biscuits
Home fries with onions
Fried eggs

My Saturday breakfast is eggs and rice.

Melt some butter, add some leftover rice when it gets hot put some beaten over it and season with a little salt and pepper.
