Had lunch a few weeks ago at Spoonbill, and it was awesome.

I second Spoonbill for lunch. I really enjoyed Scratch Farm Kitchen for breakfast/brunch.

Agree.

T-Coons for breakfast
Bon Temps for lunch

I could also highly recommend Poseidons for lunch for the best lamp chops in town, if you’re in the mood for something like that.

yeah its down the road for us, so we hit it a about once a month

Lots of good recs in this thread.

Wanted to give a specific upvote for Dwyers, a third generation family restaurant. Maybe not as trendy as French Press, or others, but the heart and soul of old downtown Lafayette.

Saturday lunch: Uncle T’s in Scott

True breakfast: Hub City or Dwyers
