Girl & The Goat in Chicago
The Canteen in Provincetown
Tipsy Cow in Madison
Hen of the Wood in Burlington/Waterbury, but I prefer the setting in Waterbury

It would be easier to name the ones where I have. I think I am easier to please than most. I have had so few bad meals it's truly hard for me to remember them.

he's using his restaurant and actively supporting a SUPER vile group of losers like Take em Down NOLA.

Its one thing to talk about it even on social media, its another to use your restaurant group as a fundraiser for and to actively support a group like them.

It definitely leaves me very conflicted about supporting them.

I'm in the same boat. Man I love La Boca and its staff. And normally I could care less about an owner's politics. But Adolfo is really blurring the line here.

Takes serious balls to put your livelihood on the line and take a hard stance on an issue you believe it.

Tough to eat in New Orleans if you’re going to avoid eating at any place with a different opinion. You’re favorite places likely have different views

Thai Pepper - been going there 20 years w/ multiple ownership changes and it's always consistent.

And you are right and most of the time I just ignore it.

Adolfo has just gone a bit overboard and is HEAVILY involved.

Ancora is one of my favorite places.

But seeing the owner/chef hold fundraisers for Take em Down Nola and in support of ANTIFA and the like...

I don't know that I can support Ancora, La Boca or High Hat. Its one thing to post shite on your social media all of the time

You know those guys are liberals, right? So the reference makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm only saying his level of involvement makes me uncomfortable to support him.

There are other places that support causes I don't agree with that I still go to regularly.

Adolfo has taken it to a whole different level.

the restaurants that are consistent I tend to return alot (shout out to Thai pepper, oriental pearl, Albasha, and waffle house already mentioned as well as High Hat and Ancora) and the ones that I have bad meals at I usually just take out of rotation.

You’ve never gone through WB at 2 am and gotten home with a burger without meat, soggy fries, or otherwise screwed up?

I love WB but c’mon man.

Just thinking of places in Baton Rouge that we frequent regularly:
- Eliza
- Jed's
- Zea
- Albasha (any location)
- Velvet Cactus
- Oriental Pearl
- Dang's
- Chow Yum Phat
- Sushi Yama
- Geisha
- Umami
- Ava Street Cafe
