Not NOLA’s best restaurant, but likely most consistent...Tony Gwynn or Ichiro territory

I’ll start by I need to go back and give it a second try, but I was not as impressed as I thought I would be. After hearing all the positives from this place and others, I looked forward to going for the first time, about a year or so ago. It just didn’t blow me away. Maybe I need to go back with lower/more realistic expectations.

ETA: I also would say the same thing about Peche.

just realized Wayfare shut down.....any reason why? Whats the deal? I used to know the owner pretty well but he's a cheesball so I kinda kept my distance.

Lease was up. Wish they would have renewed, Acropolis leaves a lot to be desired in terms of Greek food.

Usually I agree with you, but he's using his restaurant and actively supporting a SUPER vile group of losers like Take em Down NOLA.

It’s his business. Don’t like it, don’t eat there.

To get back on topic, of places I’ve eaten multiple times:
- Ancora
- Midway (money pie is good and they have great salads)
- Southerns Fried Chicken (no, not a restaurant but frick it’s good)
- Desi Vega’s
- Cristiano’s in Houma
- Song Phi Nong in Houma
- Calla in Lake Charles
- 121 Bistro in Lake Charles
- Sushi Yama in BR

Blanking on others...lots of places I’ve only eaten at once.

Chick fil A

Every once in a while at Chick Fil A you get a ridiculously small piece of chicken on the sandwich. And every once in a while it's over cooked.

The small chicken seems to be happening more and more.

I've found that if a place is never miss, try to get the food through Waitr and they'll be sure to give you a bad meal.

Walk-Ons is good if you're dining in, the quality drops off exponentially the longer it sits.

Never had a bad meal at Zorba's.

We've just started getting it, but Atomic Burger has been great every time. I've only gotten the Jamburger, no not sure about their other burgers.

The only two meals I've ever had at a Walk On's were terrible - the stuffed burger and a wrap.

No longer available. Place is currently being remodeled. Keith is making it a high-end sandwich/ deli shop. The ribeye poboy from the mothership will be prevalent. I’m told he will offer Cubans soon by a very reliable source.
Well, shite. I hoped they were just expanding.

It was so much better than Morton’s and Orlando’s. Haven’t tried Lama’s. I’m sure whatever he does there will be good.
