Oh yeah I'm down from a 42" size in pants to a 38". I haven't been in 38's since like early in high school.

Congrats on the success. It's a great feeling. I have two pairs of 38's with the tag on them that don't fit. I ordered them before I lost weight and forget they where there. I'm back in 34's.

Hulkk, I looked over your food blog. The only thing I could recommend is trying fewer calories and less carbs. Keep up the workouts. I also like the leangains eating schedule where you eat all your calories in an 8 hr window. Just some thoughts. Keep at it. Oh and I'm on vacation

Where are you on vacation? If you are in Destin and take all the Dogfish I'm going to be pissed. So, if you are in Destin, leave me some because I'm headed that way this weekend. If you are not there then drink all you can.

I'm in Orlando at the moment, but staying near Jacksonville with family. We went to a Total Wine for the beers. That place has quite a selection, I had to make myself leave
ETA: some guys on the FBD threads on this board just went to Destin and they named some craft beer places, you may ask over there. Good luck

i completely disagree. you can spot a trend (good or bad) much more quickly by daily weigh ins. what's the harm?

hulk knows water fluctuates in the system and 3-5lb swings are normal (at least for me).

but at teh same time..i'd rather know sooner than once a week if i'm starting to gain weight.

weighing daily keeps me honest and i'm less likely to cheat; especially if i'm up a couple pounds.

if i dont know my weight that morning, i can lie to myself that i weigh less than i do and cheat and grab something unhealthy to eat.

you cant do that if that number is burning a hole in your head all day.

He's hit a serious plateau. Maybe the stress of weighing everyday and not seeing a change is impacting his weight loss.

I'd weigh, today, focus hard on my diet and amp up the workouts. Forget about any numbers. Come back a week from today and see what happens.

What's the worst that can happen? He's been around the same number for awhile now.

haven't posted since 6/12/12. I weighed 182.5. Now, i'm sitting at 218/181.9/175. Still haven't really dieted in the last 3 months or so. Just started a extremely low carb diet on Monday after getting back from vacation. The only cheat I know I'm going to have this month is National Cheesecake Day on July 30th.

Outside of that, I had started running again prior to my beach trip and am planning on starting again once I lose this head cold. I'm hoping to stay on the wagon until I get to 175, maybe lower depending on how this goes.

my morale is much better after losing a few pounds on a weekly weigh in.

if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing there is nothing to worry about as far as "trends".

I am so pissed at myself about Tuesday night. I could be close to the 240's if I hadn't screwed up.

hell yes. Let's hope it continues to go down. Another progress indicator.. I realized yesterday that I needed to move another notch in my belt. So even though the actual number isn't coming down much, I'm still losing size. Maybe I should start taking all of my measurements.

I've been on a forced fast most of yesterday and today. Some of us from my office went to Logan's Roadhouse for a co-worker's birthday lunch yesterday. Never, ever again. Everybody that had the 6 ounce filet got sick as a dog. I called them earlier and the manager was a total dick. Like I wanted anything free or some kind of a discount for a future visit, I just wanted them to know they were poisoning people.

Anyway, I'm better now after 24 hours of hell and I'm really looking forward to eating something other than a sugar free popsicle tomorrow.
