7 weeks into Keto with some intermittent fasting. 16lbs down.
1 month till I'll be on the Great Barrier Reef

Diet has been great. I no longer get cravings for junk (well other than pizza). It has been hard diversifying my menu though. I mostly eat chicken, lamb, steak, or kangaroo over a hearty salad or bacon and eggs. Iv'e read up on some recipes for keto pizza with cauliflower or almond four but haven't had the time to try them out with med school exams fast approaching. So, if you have any easy and non-time consuming recipes that will help me change it up, I would greatly appreciate it.

I feel like my weight loss has slowed a little lately, but I believe I can attribute it to putting on some muscle. I have started the phase of really enjoying going to the gym. In the mirror and with my pant's fit, I can seeing my waist shrinking. I am noticing some definition in growth and my arms. I am lifting 3x a week and running around playing intramurals on Sundays.

I believe this next week leading up to exams and the week of exams following it will be my toughest challenge. The stress is already getting to me and I've found myself trying to avoid studying by looking in the pantry/fridge.

Good luck to everyone else!!!

Going in for light deads. Haven't been able to do a deadlift or a squat since I screwed my foot up. Today is the day.

Did a nice 6.2 mile fasted run this am. Felt great. Now to slowly increase the miles to get back into marathon training on keto.

keep killing it. The scale doesn't matter much when you're lifting consistently. Trust the mirror and measurements.

Weren't you 282 last week or something?

how do you differentiate normal weight gain and water weight gain?

I mean I know for you mental well being its prob better to just blame any weight gain on water weight, but at some point you just need to be real wkth yourself.

I was, but I dropped out of ketosis. Ketosis is a natural diuretic, so when you go into ketosis you drop lots of water weight.. And when you drop out of it you put it on.

My point of calling it 'water weight' is literally that my body is holding onto more water, and I'm not putting on inches or fat, and until my body gets used to burning carbs again, my weight is going to fluctuate a lot.

Just went and had lunch with Arseinclarse.

This is what he got. He figured there's a few pounds of water weight here:

Burger, rare
Add blue cheese
