We've basically replaced certain potato recipes with cauliflower. We've had pureed cauliflower that we thickened with cream and cheese that satisfied a hankering for mashed potatoes. And yesterday we did a creamy cauliflower soup that we made like stuffed potato soup. I could eat it all day.

I look forward to doing something with riced cauliflower. I never cared for it in the past, but it's a very versatile ingredient.

Visiting a friend in Omaha this week, and he sent me the menu to the place we're eating at tomorrow. I predict going off the rails a bit this week. Hopefully just the one day...

Closing in on my next goal weight. Within 3 pounds of it now. Weight loss is slower now but I am keeping strong through my goal dates- vacation, a friend's wedding, etc.

Trying to get back into keto after two weeks being off of it is rough.

I tried getting up for 5:30 workout and I felt like i needed to faint every time i moved too quickly.

That's awesome.

I've found that I need to stay at least somewhat disciplined even through the events of life. Otherwise there is always some excuse-simply because there are always events of some sort.

I'm going on a cruise to Alaska tomorrow, and I am not going to keep track of my WW points, and I am going to eat what I want, but I will still have portion control in the back of my mind. We will be hiking and exercising too-for fun. And we have committed to taking the stairs all over the boat.

I've got about 6 pounds to play with too, but I don't think I will gain that much.

Ehhh

Just enjoy yourself. How many times are ya gonna hike in Alaska.

If it's a weekend in New Orleans, or a party for a super regional, I'd say keep it clean as possible. But that's a special trip. You will eat well up there.

Have fun.

Just finished up shoulders. Going to weigh in tomorrow hopefully I shredded some pounds I put on since hang out fest.

A friend of mine was telling me yesterday about this water/lemon/cayenne pepper cleanse. She swears by it. Anyone have experience with it?

Scale has been all over the place this week, however my lifts are clearly improving with the eating of more calories. Now I just need to dial in the amount instead of guessing. Been eating anywhere from 2300-2700 calories a night. I'm not sure what percentage of a surplus I need to be consistent with getting stronger while making sure to not just stuff my face and put on non essential weight.

Haven't had any issues with staying Keto for the last month or however long it's been since I started back. Someone brought in doughnuts yesterday which I barely even looked at...glad to be back in that mindset.

First day in a squat rack since I screwed up my foot. My legs look like chicken legs. They felt like twigs, ready to snap.

Unreal

I am trying to weigh myself less often to help me not obsess over it. Did not weigh today. I feel great, though.

Pizza tomorrow. I counted for 4 slices on MFP, and the rest of the day I'll eat light. I'd like to be able to enjoy the pizza without really blowing up my calories.

Thanks Hulk,

That one lined up pretty close with the ketogains calculator I used previously. However the IIFYM calc actually gave me a 10% surplus "recommended" which is the part I wasn't familiar with.

Ketogains has me at around 2400 calories
IIFYM has me at around 2500 calories

The difference being that ketogains forces me to guesstimate a body fat percentage and the other didn't (and wouldn't let me put one in to compare)
