The one on Staring Lane blows and they don't give a shite what color you are.

I used to hit the Golden Meadow all you could eat Popeyes after a long day fishing. Dear lord we cleaned that place out. Problem was half the time I was driving but on those days I wasn't the nap from there home was wonderful.

It's probably just your store.

Popeyes biscuits are a shell of their former self. Copelands still makes them using the old recipe. But this thread is about positive experiences. Popeyes on Grand Caillou Road always does me right. They have a person on register, a person a filling orders and a person giving orders and condiments out. They also typically have a worker in the dining room cleaning up so the tables are always fresh

I've always had positive experiences with Popeyes. But I go inside to order.

If there's a wait for the chicken they always tell me, and I'm fine with that because I'm gong to get some hot and fresh chicken.

The Popeyes in the Shreveport/Bossier had exceptional service. One of the few times I've taken the surveys on the receipt. I thought I was in a different dimension it was so perfect.

Love Popeye's - was on a road trip recently and got an order at the one in Johnson City, Tennessee. Great, except instead of the cajun rice as I ordered they gave me jambalaya (it was good too).

I went to the one on Highland by I-10 last week around 7:30. Guy took my order right away and was very polite. Drove to window, paid my money and by the time the transaction was complete his co-worker was bringing my food to the window. Got home and everything was right. The only negative was they were out of bbq sauce and the guy was very apologetic about it.

I go to one in Shreveport on Mansfield Rd every time I go to the dentist or on my way back from visiting the parents up in Hot Springs. ALWAYS have a pleasant experience. They always give me the freshest chicken so it's still hot, not just warm, after the hour long drive home (next closest location is 17 miles down a really shitty 2 lane in the wrong direction, and it's next door to Southern Classic so if gonna make the trip gonna get the better chicken).

Best was the Popeyes on Cantrell Rd in Little Rock. It was immaculately clean, quick, and devoid of culcha. Best Popeyes experience ever.

Second best was growing up there was a Popeyes in front of our neighborhood that had a buffet.

ETA: I see it made somebody else's list. Except Galliano and not GM.

I once walked into the popeyes on Essen, a rather stoned looking long scholar told me "go on, chickin bad"

I took his advice and went to chick-fil-a

The day Ms. Cynthia left was a sad day. Pretty sure that was her name. Such a sweet lady.

She's been gone for a little over a year now. Terrible. Not as much personality at the window, but they are still efficient.

Up here in Virginia...Popeyes is far superior to the North Carolina based so called Cajun Chicken joint, Bojangles.

I'm still heartbroken they discontinued the onion rings.
What they did is discontinue making them fresh. The ones they serve now are frozen and suck in comparison.
