It's easily the worst of the 4 pieces.

Legs? No way. Whole pieces go breast, leg, thigh, wing, with wings being a very distant last. However, for jamb, soup, etc, it's thigh meat.

First, upvote #50.

Second, when I lived in Chicago I used to love the popeyes at Clark and Division. It was a little hood in there back then but I didn't care, chicken was great. They shut it down sadly.

Lastly, this post has inspired me. I haven't had popeyes since I lived in nyc(6 months) and that streak ends today!

Don't know how you can put the leg above the thigh.

I could see an argument between legs and wings, but I'll take the wings.

You can eat a leg with one hand and drink a beer with the other.

Can you do that with a thigh?

Check. Mate.

Edit: 314 the 5 dolla big box is back. 2 piece mixed or 3 tenders. 2 sides. Biscuit.

OK... You can. Just like you can eat mashed taters with no hands.

But you'll make a damn mess and look like a fool. While with a leg it's easy peasy. And you don't get shite everywhere.

A few months ago, I commented on Joey biting into a whole fried breast or thigh, getting crumbs and grease all over his face, asking if people really eat chicken like that. I must have gotten 100 downvotes.

I went to Popeye's and got the 3 finger meal and it came out in less than 5 minutes and was still warm. Best part is they had sweet and sour for it

It's all about the Mardi Gras Mustard for me. That stuff is awesome. Clears my sinuses.

As far as the amount of meat, you are correct. But they taste better than any other piece.

My dream Popeyes meal would be 10 spicy legs, and 2 sides.
