Looking for something good that will last and that will sear. What ya got?

Wait til end of season and watch brickseek and pick up one of the masterbuilt gravity series for around $200 instead, better than pellet and just as easy.

You'll have 95% on here say Rectec, board loves them. Yoder hits the points you asked for, built like a tank and will sear up to 700 degrees. I've had mine since 2017, no hiccups.

I have a Green Mountain and really like it for the price. I will say if I hadn’t been so poor when I bought it, I probably would have gone with something else. But I still haven’t purchased a different one because I’m still happy with mine

Recteq Bullseye. Goes from about 200°-750°. Get some Grill Grates as already suggested. They make incredible grill marks. I have cooked everything from salmon to briskets. All came out fantastic. I use it 1-3 times a week. Looking at getting their 340 for its portability. They use a lot of stainless in their products and are built to last.

What if I'm looking to spend no more than $700? I've looked at some Camp Chef and Z-Grill, and I see that Cabela's has one with their brand name on it. Anybody have experience or recommendations between those?

Bump
Best recs for a $600-999 budget? Does it really matter at that price point?
