is Parish trying to go down the Veil path?

I mean these are basically daiquiris

Instead of making people stand in line for their releases, maybe they could just set up a drive through window and folks need not get our of their cars.

But honestly it sounds like he's doing what B52 does with their IPA releases. One haze, one fruited version

I didn't care for it. And like I said, it's probably because I'm accustomed to better made beers by Parish, Gnarly Barley, Urban South, etc...

I still have 3 bottles of the 11/8 batch that I haven't touched. I found it to have too much of a carbonic bite and not enough hop flavor. Opus was a great beer, but what it has become is a shell of it's former self.

And like I said in my post, TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE.

OK, so on a scale of World Class beer to Nova Vert bad, please rate the following beers:

NOLA Hopitoulas IPA
Abita Wrought Iron IPA
Southern Craft Pompous Pelican IPA

I'm not trying to bang on these other beers. I don't enjoy them. I prefer something else. That doesn't make them bad beers.

If you consider Nova Vert a bad beer, it's my opinion that you have a very flawed since of what is really bad. Either that, or you're just being overdramatic.

At some point the bubble is going to pop and it might be this weekend. I get Parish is trying to maximize profits and that shite is marked up to hell. They will try and say it's because of Overhead and taxes, but in reality it is greed. Getting to the point where it is not worth to trouble to wait in line 3+ hours for beer that is getting more expensive each release. Prices are almost comparable to a 16oz can 4pk from other breweries. Hard to justify spending $16 on a crowler of a beer im not sure ill even like.

Personally, they'd all be below Nova Vert.

What don't you understand by the word "subjective"? I said I found it was bad. I even gave my reasoning. You don't like my reasoning, fine. Disagree. But you can't tell someone what they think about a beer. I thought it was BAD. I thought the Envie in cans was BAD. They were sub-par products produced from a company that I expect better from. If that release of Nova is what they are going for, then I'm staying away from it.

And, I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one. I still see Nova sitting on shelves at stores. The beers are flawed, IMO. But if that's what they are going for, then by all means, YOU go ahead and buy it all up.

If Jucifer wasn't on the shelf then Nova was one of the best local IPAs available on shelves at the time it was released.

no, it's capitalism. i'm not sure how good this beer will be but if people keep lining up for hours in order to get it, why wouldn't he charge high prices?

But I can tell you that you are wrong. Especially when you are wrong.

And I can tell you that you're being insufferable as usual.
