Urban South releases what seems like 4 new beers every other week. They also do a good amount of seasonals + Architecture series. Urban South pumps out a lot of different beer.

That's precisely what I was getting at. Urban South is constantly pumping out new beers, while Parish mostly just releases variants of their mainstays.

Perhaps my wording was off.

If you line them up side by side and draft which beers you want to drink, parish has what the top 4 picks before you get to either grace and grit or old mad joy?

G&G and OMJ are not even GRs best beers.

I like commotion more than envie.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had access but great rafts sours were almost always great

100% agree. DDH Commotion is better than any iteration of Envie.

Ghost is probably the best overall. And Pure Tropics is excellent as well. Everything else is pretty comparable.

What 4 are you talking about here?

I will preface this by saying for the most part sours are not my favorite. I can drink the sips occasionally and have tried most of great rafts, but I'm not including any of these in my discussion below, on either side.

If we are just talking flagship or base beers and not one off special releases (in which Parish has likely even more inclusions with DDH Ghost and the Reve iterations above GR)

Ghost, Pure Tropics, Attacus and Reve.

I personally like Envie better than commotion but can see it being very close.

Bloom and Nova are also right there with Grace and Grit in my mind, but I would have G&G Higher.

Your post made sense. I just read it wrong. My bad.

I didn't find any joy in this beer at all.

Parish, Gnarley Barley and Great Raft are Louisiana’s best breweries IMO.

Parish and Gnarley Barley are 1A & 1B for me. Three of my favorite beers are Revé, Jucifer and Karova Peanut Butter Milk Porter. Gnarley Barley hits on almost every beer they make, but doesn’t have as many beers. Parish releases more beer, but they seem to have more misses.

I like Urban South too, but not as familiar with their newer stuff.

I prefer Urban South to both Parish and Goat Raft. Looking forward to having those boys in Htown.

Peanut butter korova milk porter by Gnarly is the best beer in the state!

Gnarly, Parish, Great Raft and Urban South are all great breweries.

DDH Ghost, Attacus, and Pure Tropics for sure for me...
US releases new beer every two weeks but I don't find they hit home runs a lot of the time, most of what US releases is fairly average to me outside of Snoball Juice

Wish one of them would take a break from the hayze bois for a second and brew a legit West Coast IPA.

At least Bayou Teche hasn’t been afraid to fill that need.

I don’t make any of these stand in the line releases, but for grocery store brews, Ghost, Atticus and Reve are all personally preferred over what Great Raft offers as shelf beers.

Yep. And snoball juice was not a homeruns in the most recent release. Parish being number 1 is not even debatable. Ghost wins every time.

You are FOS. DDH Ghost and their BA stouts trade 1:1 for the highest rated beers in the country. Maybe you should stick to your Bud Heavy

Urban South's 3DH was a crime being sold for the price that it did.

I've never been impressed with Snoball Juice.

Honestly, I'd rather DDH Holy Roller than any of the special release IPAs they've made.
