Anyone heard anything about Parish ramping up their hoppy beer production?
Aside from the ghost release they have been very quiet. It's kind of frustrating.

Making too much money pumping out canebrake and strawberry canebrake. They need to increase capacity in the worse way.

I haven't tried the newest iteration that's being canned as Voodoo, but the recipe changes with Voodoo Bengal were all a step in the right direction.

I did try some DDH Juke Joint last Friday, it's excellent.

And their DIPA test batches have all been solid, one will be released for American Craft Beer Week.

From appearance alone, it looks better. The new head brewer that came in is doing a great job.

Taproom only?

I had one of their DIPA's a month or 2 ago. It wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. Just tasted a bit malty for my liking.

If you can't figure out what I was doing there based upon that gif, I'm not sure you deserve an answer.

I see what you did. It's terrible because it's a local beer.

I can't offer my thoughts because I can't see the beer

if its turbid af, obviously it will be amazing

if its clear, it will suck

Not sure... it's at least a 15-barrel batch though, so probably some limited distribution.

That wasn't the same recipe (at all) as the ones they testing out now. Plus if you had it a few months ago it was at the end of its run.

In that case, nope. Haven't had Syncopation either. I'll get around to it. I also haven't seen any of the Juke Joint 2.0 cans around town, but I haven't searched too hard. I have tried JJ on draft a few times since probably Thanksgiving to see if it was better.

I think you meant NEIPA test batch. The one that's going on next week will be about 6.5%, so it's still a single IPA.

And may God have mercy on your soul if you ever admit to actually enjoying a clear IPA on a public forum, because "we" don't take kindly to that here.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant.

Truth. Gotta make sure the lighting is correct for the picture too.

I won't be able to answer the question "how do I feel about it" until I actually drink the beer. Until then, why should I bother speculating on whether I'll like it or not?

If I lived down there, my feeling would be that more choices is better. Even if I hated that particular beer, I know that other people would drink it, meaning that the beers I do like would be more readily available.

Exactly....more people buying beer the better.
